Many children and young people live on the streets. They have no home, no chance to go to school, no sense of safety. They are poor because they have no one to give them a loving look or attention. If you meet the conditions below, you can apply for the 10-month preparation programme via the application form, which will be published at the end of this school year.
The first preparatory meeting of the current intake took place on 20–22 September 2024; the same will apply in 2025.
WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO YOU NEED TO MEET?
- age 20–30 (exceptions possible)
- good health and physical condition
- an active life with God — a sincere effort at engaged Christian living
- a positive and creative approach to life; a sense of community
- willingness to work on oneself and accept formation — not to take criticism personally
- completion of a year of preparation — 10 preparatory meetings
- knowledge of at least one foreign language (willingness to learn languages / no fear of learning new languages: English, Portuguese, Russian or others)
- experience in educational work with children and youth
- determination to give a portion of your life to poor and abandoned young people
